Day 1- 6th August 2012
Today our teacher said he would tell us our inquiry project topic and it was Rock Quest! First we had to form into our group. Then we chose our group name. After that we decided the jobs. Next our teacher gave us a book for our group. Then our teacher asked us to come up with three names for our group. After that we wrote the jobs down and planned a logo. It was a lightning bolt on a heart shape. When we finished it we decorated the front of our book.
Day 2- 7th August 2012
Today we created three logos using text only; three for each person. We all had to make the logos together. Each person had to make three band logos on our rock Quest page. We had to make a logo that fitted our group name. The group name does not need to be correct too.
Day 3- 13th August 2012
Today we changed our blog page. First we changed our title, then we needed to edit something. When we were editing the teachers were setting up the Wii and they called out some people to have a go on Guitar Hero on the Wii.
Day 4- 14th August 2012
Today each member of the group had to create their own three logos using the Rock Quest website and there are 3 websites to make a ROCK text. Then we spent a few minutes designing. Vianie finished it first, then Kim, An and Annie!
Day 5- 15th August 2012
Today each group chose their group song. The song that we chose was called Carry On Wayward Son and Kim was holding the guitar so she could scroll through the songs on the Wii.
Day 6- 23rd August 2012
Today our group got to play on the Wii because the teacher said if people are working hard their group can have a turn on the Wii, to practice the song on Guitar Heroes. So Mr. Mead picked Annie because she was working hard. Annie and An went on the guitar. Kim went on the drums and Vianie was holding the microphone.
